Facebook

I am going to get a Soap Box here, so if you offend easily, STOP READING NOW!!!

Recently, I was able to hear a conversation about Facebook and the people having the conversation were talking about blocking people, hiding people, defriending people and all the other things people do to avoid contact with someone else. I started thinking to myself, "that is the reason I stay off Facebook." Don't get me wrong, Facebook is good for somethings, for example, I do use it to get pictures for the Yearbook! Outside of that I am always in deactivation mode.  It is too much drama to block people and hide people. I think its childish to do that. If you don't want to be their Facebook friend just reject them. I don't know, maybe I am being too harsh but I think it's petty to get caught up in the whole mess of it. So what if someone searches for you, there is a way for your page to be protected where they can't see your pictures and other activity but the whole blocking and hiding is ridiculous. If you dont want to be a friend just reject them. Let's be honest, they are probably not trying to be your friend anyway (don't be vain).

Signing out,
